Solidarity with Lizzi

Urgent Action:

SOLIDARITY WITH LIZZI!
JUNE 27 PICKET
FIGHT TRANSPHOBIA & TRANS-IGNORANCE!

People’s Bank refused service to Lizzie Duff based on a policy that is biased against trans people. As the Seattle Office of Civil Rights investigates this outrageous behavior, Seattle Solidarity Network and Lizzie are demanding that People’s Bank change this policy and accept bank wide transgender sensitivity training from the Gender Justice League. So far, the bank is refusing! People’s Bank must accept transgender folks as customers and coworkers deserving respect and dignity. Come join us as we picket People’s Bank and together, make our voices heard.

Please join us in Ballard on Sunday, June 27 at noon: 5600 24th Ave NW, one block north of Market St on 24th. Just bring yourselves and friends. Carry a banner or sign already-made for you. Meet new friends. Greet old ones. Have fun in the sun!

PEOPLES BANK MUST ACCEPT TRANSGENDER FOLKS AS CO-WORKERS AND CUSTOMERS DESERVING RESPECT, DIGNITY AND FULL SERVICE!
