Danni Askini

Bio:

Danni Askini is one of the founders and the current Executive Director of Gender Justice League and Trans Pride Seattle. She was the former National Program Director for GSA Network, the Policy Director for Basic Rights Oregon, and the first Transgender Health Program Director at Verbena Health where she ran the Transform Health Project.

Elayne Wylie

Bio:

Elayne Wylie (She/Her) is Gender Justice League’s first Board Chair, currently serving as the Director of operations and development at GJL. She is a long time Seattle trans civil & human rights activist and trans community fixture. She is also a professionally trained and seasoned film producer. Previously, she served on the board’s of both Ingersoll Gender Center and Seattle Out and Proud and is a 2011 graduate of Out in Front LGBT Leadership program. Currently at work with the SAFE Alliance campaign.

Yani Robinson

Bio:

Yani Robinson is a queer and trans writer and community organizer who works with Gender Justice League and Lion’s Main Art Collective. An intersectional feminist advocate for communities of color and LGBTQ persons, they hope to become a writing teacher in the public school and prison system. Yani believes in grassroots solutions and empowering those most oppressed by class, race, or gender identity to reform broken institutions.

Bobbi Dalley

Bio:

Bobbi Dalley (she/her) is a board certified radiologist and professor at the University of Washington’s medical school, where she teaches the Northwest’s first Transgender Medical School Class. She is a Trans* medical care advocate and serves on the board of directors of GLMA – the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.

Ayom Ament

Bio:

Ayom Ament is a disabled nonbinary, multi-ethnic artist, writer and educator. Their work with Gender Justice League over the last five years has centered system development in Seattle’s Trans and Queer disability justice communities. Their goal is to make accessibility a part of real conversations for all disabled queers. Prior to working in Seattle’s Queer and Trans communities, Ayom was a member of the Chicago Independent Radio Project and a music journalist for the blog Gapers Block.

Ally Cenci

Membership & Volunteer Director

Bio:

Ally Cenci is a Board Member and the Membership & Volunteer Coordinator for Gender Justice League, starting her role in April 2016 her first major project with Gender Justice League is to recruit and organize volunteers for Trans* Pride and build a core foundation for the program going forward after pride.She has experience working within the community from her roles at the Q Center, Oregon United for Marriage, and Basic Rights Oregon in Portland. At the Q Center she was the first ever Out and About Coordinator in charge of community contacts, and center recognition within the community, and after that she assumed the role of Volunteer Coordinator managing the operations of the entirely volunteer based community center aspect. While volunteering with Oregon United for Marriage Ally was the Media Platform Coordinator working with the Media Relations and Press Team building a database of over 5000 contacts to send out breaking news stories at a moment’s notice.Ally and her partner are settling in to the Seattle area for the long run and you can find her usually toiling around in a spreadsheet organizing something or building a team for an upcoming event.

Ryannah Quigley

Trans and Racial Justice Organizer

Bio:

Ryannah is GJL’s Trans and Racial Justice Organizer. Ryannah has been with Gender Justice League since 2014 and has served in many roles within the organization. She currently works as our Trans and Racial Justice Organizer facilitating the QTPOC Advocacy Committee, working to elevate the voices and participation of QTPOC individuals within Seattle’s LGBTQ and POC communities.
